GETTING OLDER

I engage in numerous conversations with elderly individuals, each with their own unique life experiences and stories to share. Amidst their diversity, I've discerned a common thread—their dreams. These dreams often revolve around regaining abilities they once took for granted: the longing to walk, bike, drive, hear, read, and travel once more.

In response to this shared aspiration, I embarked on a mission to materialize their dreamworlds. Utilizing images sourced from magazines, I meticulously cut them out and scanned them, enabling me to manipulate their sizes. With the aid of InDesign and Photoshop, I skillfully assembled these components to craft a visual narrative.

At the heart of this project lies a powerful message—to find contentment in the present moment, appreciating the capabilities we possess today. What might seem ordinary to us could be someone else's cherished dream. These images, which may appear commonplace, serve as a poignant reminder that our current reality holds immense value and should be cherished.
