GREETINGS FROM

I embarked on a unique journey, not of the physical kind, but a voyage through time and heritage to a destination of my choice—Iran, the birthplace of my father. While I had heard countless stories about this country and my dad’s life there, I yearned to unravel the complete timeline of its history.

My quest led me to heartfelt conversations with my grandparents, who graciously shared their cherished memories and preserved mementos from days gone by. Armed with this wealth of knowledge, I meticulously pieced together a historical timeline.

Subsequently, I carefully crafted an itinerary detailing the virtual journey I intended to undertake, inspired by the places my grandparents had recounted. These locales served as the foundation for the captivating postcards I ultimately created, each bearing striking prints from the destinations I "visited."

To complete this meaningful project, I composed heartfelt messages to my grandparents on the back of these postcards, a heartfelt tribute to their shared heritage. Adding an authentic touch, I affixed genuine Iranian postage stamps, encapsulating the essence of the journey and the enduring connection with my family's roots.
